Stacey Rusch shared relationship updates with Gizelle Bryant and Ashley Darby – and revealed that she didn’t miss Angel Massie or Keiarna Steward after their exit from Real Housewives of Potomac, as Angel clapped back.
Last season, Gizelle and Ashley called out Stacey repeatedly despite Stacey’s attempts to forge some kind of friendship with them. After the season wrapped, Angel and Keiarna exited the show, and Gizelle’s best friend Robyn Dixon returned.
Speaking to ET, Stacey doubled down on her comment last year about how the “devil checks under the bed” every night to see if Gizelle is there.
“That’s true forever and always,” she said. “But the good news is that Gizelle and I have come to a great place. We both know that we just don’t care for each other. And we’re fine with that. And better for it.”
“I think that Gizelle and I have just finally come to a point where we accept each other for who we are. And we realize that we are very different. And our definition of friendship is different,” she continued. “I’m like a good person. She’s just a mean girl, unnecessarily so. So it’s no surprise that we don’t get along.”
Later on, Stacey said she didn’t miss Angel or Keiarna after the cast shakeup – and addressed the shifting dynamics of the new season.
“There are friendships that I really, really put my all into. I wanted to see them blossom. And then there are some friendships that unfortunately struggled,” she said. “And so seeing that is going to be a wild ride for everyone. … I had a lot of disappointments this season.”
But Stacey said Ashley surprised her in a good way. “There was some space created for the both of us, and we filled that space fully,” she said.
Around the same time, Angel clapped back at Stacey, saying she didn’t miss her.
“She didn’t miss me at all but invited me to her wedding. Sounds like she needed some support,” wrote Angel on Threads. “🤣 These chics.”
