While the OG cast of Vanderpump Rules hasn’t been on the show since 2024, fans understandably still care about them, as they followed their lives for years.
Through the years, there were many shocking moments that took place on the show. One of the more memorable early on was Tom Schwartz, 44, throwing a drink on Katie Maloney, 40, while in Cabo.
On a recent episode of the Pumpcast podcast, Katie appeared and shockingly shared she was asked to re-shoot that scene by producers.
“I never ever wanted to publicly talk about that… yeah, it’s true,” Katie began. “And looking back now, I’m just like… I would never agree to that.”
Katie explained the cameras had already gone down when she and Tom got into it, and he threw a drink on her. Production had seen what occurred and approached her, asking her to re-shoot it.
“And it was presented to me just like, well, you know, this is something that actually did happen,” she elaborated. “Like it did happen and I was like, can’t argue with that.”
She also noted that, as it was early on, she was worried about getting asked back and wanting to make a good show, so she agreed to re-shoot it.
“That was just like a really unhealed version of myself that just didn’t know any better and didn’t know how to say no,” she added.
Katie also addressed another hot topic – Jax Taylor, 47, dating Lori Krebs, 43, and the infamous alleged AI picture of them at a dinner table that he posted.
“I feel like I’m in a fever dream with those two,” Katie stated. “I wish them nothing but the worst. But go piss, girl, I guess. Like, what are you doing? Where are your children, Lori? Where are your kids? Why are you not with your children? This is f*cking weird.”
