The Chrisleys: Back to Reality premiered on Lifetime on September 1 as a two-night event. Since then, Todd Chrisley, his wife, Julie Chrisley, and their family have all made several revelations. Now, Todd has revealed that having sex with Julie again was at the top of his mind when he learned he was being released from prison. Additionally, he claimed that Kyle Chrisley visited him while he was incarcerated.

Kyle, Todd’s oldest son, has had a strained relationship with his father for several years. Kyle revealed in June 2024 that he hadn’t spoken to his father in over a year.

Todd discussed the first thought that came to mind upon learning he’d see Julie again on the September 16 episode of The Chrisleys: Back to Reality. He said after being prompted, “Sex.” After hearing her husband’s answer, Julie shook her head.

“It had been 28 months. I’m not gonna sit here and lie,” he added. The producer then asked Julie the same question, and Todd answered for her, saying, “‘God, I’m gonna have to have sex with him for four minutes.'” Julie admitted that she was a bit nervous about his reaction to seeing how she’d changed while behind bars.

She recalled, “I said he’s gonna kill me when he sees my hair.” While in prison, her hair color had returned to brunette and gray instead of the blonde that Todd and the world had become accustomed to seeing.

“That was true because she looked like trailer park Tracy,” Todd said. However, he reassured his wife by adding, “You know I love you.”

From there, she jokingly blamed her hairstylist for instructing her to allow her hair to grow while in prison. “That shows you right there you cannot trust a gay hairdresser,” said Julie. “Find you a Pentecostal hairdresser.”

Todd went on to joke that Julie looked like she had “been dipped in s***” and that the sex he had been craving could wait. He added, “It waited 10 more minutes. I mean, I gave in,” after she playfully slapped him.

According to US Weekly, Todd also opened up about his fractured relationship with Kyle. He stated during the show’s finale, “I did get an apology from Kyle.” He continued discussing Kyle visiting him in prison, saying, “I was in a state of shock. He hugged me and went to the vending machine and bought me a drink.”

In discussing their conversation during the visit, Todd revealed, “He apologized for his involvement [and] for the things he had done. And he said, ‘If I could take them back, I would, but I can’t, and I’m asking, can we just pick up from here and move forward?’ And that wasn’t possible for me.”
