Tamra Judge accused Gretchen Rossi of being “performative” on Thursday’s episode of Watch What Happens Live after being asked about her reaction to Slade Smiley mentioning a rumor about her sleeping with a boy bander.
After the latest episode of The Real Housewives of Orange County saw Slade, 51, sharing the report with their castmates, Tamra, 58, reacted to Gretchen being upset with her longtime partner and addressed Emily Simpson‘s concerns about their friendship as she suspected she’d be fired if her personality changed, shared husband Eddie Judge‘s response to the cheating rumor, and more.
“[It was] very performative. I thought it was total bullish*t,” Tamra admitted of Gretchen’s reaction on the September 25 episode of WWHL. “Please. The shtick…”
“Okay, we’re on live TV,” Andy Cohen, 58, replied as Tamra cussed yet again.
“I can’t say sh*t? I thought it was just the F word,” she explained.
Then asked about Emily, 49, saying she wouldn’t trust her because she wouldn’t want Tamra to throw her personal stuff back at her, Tamra claimed to be heartbroken.
“That really broke my heart because I do love Emily and we have a good, a friendship, and she’s actually on my network at iHeart,” she shared.
As for whether she’s been changed by therapy, Tamra suggested that she didn’t want to change, as it would likely mean she’d be fired.
“I’m not trying to change my personality because then I’ll get fired,” she told Andy, who denied the statement.
“You don’t have to be mean to stay on the show. What do you mean, change your personality or you’ll get fired? That is a crazy thing to say!” he declared.
“No, it’s not!” she fired back. “The cast thinks that I’m going to therapy so I can be better to them. No, I’m dealing with stuff that I haven’t dealt with, and I’m just trying to get [through] the trauma of things.”
“And how’s that going for you?” Andy asked.
“Great .. I didn’t punch her,” Tamra replied of Gretchen, who she gave two middle fingers on Thursday’s RHOC as she called her out for spreading a rumor about her supposed hookup with the singer.
Tamra also revealed Eddie’s response to Gretchen and Slade’s claim.
“It’s not true so he has no response at all except for they’re evil. That’s it,” she stated. “And by the way, I haven’t spent with any celebrities. Honestly, I mean, I have been hit on by Denise Richards and ….I forgot his name. George Lopez. Yes, George Lopez. By the way, that was my slim pickings.”
Although Andy wanted to know if Tamra felt Gretchen was jealous of her, Tamra said the question should’ve been whether she’s “obsessed.”
“I just think she’s obsessed .. I’m successful. I have a successful CBD business … I have the podcast and all that,” she noted.
Later, on the WWHL: After Show, Tamra was asked if she’d rather wear an Alexis Couture Dress or a Gretchen Christine handbag.
“Alexis Couture dress. We’ve seen how Gretchen dresses,” she replied.
As for what made her rekindle her friendship with Katie Ginella, 41, Tamra denied the alleged “rekindling” as she also shared the advice she gave her for the reunion.
“I didn’t rekindle a friendship with Katie … I’m [just] the only one out of the cast that films with Katie coming up, and so I actually really like Katie, and you’ll see where that goes,” she explained. “And my advice to Katie at the reunion is to bring the receipts. Speak your mind. Do all the things. Because now that Gretchen has lied in every single episode, it’s only gonna help Katie in the long run because Gretchen clearly is lying about telling her about me drugging her.”
“Bring the receipts, and Katie’s got a lot of receipts,” she added.
