Alexia Nepola sparked rumors of a potential exit from The Real Housewives of Miami last week ahead of the season seven finale.

As casting rumors continue to swirl in regard to the series’ upcoming eighth season, Alexia, 58, spoke of closing a chapter and thanked her fans and followers, leading many to think she would not be a part of the new season.

“Miami, you’ve seen it all—my truth, my struggles, my heart. Tonight we close this chapter and I just want to say: THANK YOU for every message, every hug, every ounce of love,” she wrote in her September 25 message on Instagram, which featured several images of her and her castmates.

While many feared the post was an exit statement from Alexia, with one person suspecting it was a “goodbye message” and another saying it felt “final,” she quickly set the record straight.

“Please don’t leave us Alexia,” one person begged.

“Don’t worry, not leaving,” she replied.

“Omg, are you leaving?” someone else asked.

“No no,” she confirmed.

Alexia Nepola Reacts to Claims of Quitting RHOM Ahead of Season 8

Earlier this month, a report from Bravo and Cocktails alleged that Alexia would be returning to RHOM for season eight, along with Larsa Pippen, 51, Lisa Hochstein, 43, Stephanie Shojaee, 40, and Marysol Patton, 58, and that the rest of the cast was “on the bubble,” including Guerdy Abraira, 47, Julia Lemigova, 53, Adriana De Moura, 59, and Kiki Barth, 36.

“It’s likely that 2 of the 4 won’t be back. The rest of the lineup (including new additions or potential returnees) remains undecided, so this update only applies to the existing cast,” the outlet claimed.

Days later, an insider told OK! Magazine that Julia and Guerdy were on “the chopping block” because Bravo “wants more Latin Americans” on the show.

“Guerdy and Julia don’t fit that profile,” the source shared.

The Real Housewives of Miami season seven airs Thursdays at 9/8c on Bravo.
