Meredith Marks is clapping back at Heather McDonald after the comedian went on a rant against her and her spending on TikTok.
After Heather, 55, called out Meredith, 53, for overspending as she signaled to the Real Housewives of Salt Lake City star’s $70,000 per month rental in Park City, Utah, and suggested she may be “fake rich,” Meredith left a comment on her post, insisting that she lives “well below [her] means.”
“Meredith, my love, what the f*ck are you doing?” Heather demanded in her October 4 post. “These shows do not pay enough. The money from your caviar and your DJ gigs do not pay enough to waste $70,000 a month on rent. For what? Who are you proving this to?”
After describing The Real Housewives of Orange County cast member Gina Kirschenheiter, 41, as “smart” because she wants to “not be in debt and actually own a property,” Heather noted that fans of the Real Housewives franchise want to see women who keep it real.
“Whether they’re really rich or they’re not, what’s worse is the fake rich. Honestly, it’s more stressful for us to see you waste money when we’ve been watching these shows for 20 years, and we know what happens when you’re spending more than you should to appear to look rich when you’re making maybe $100,000 on this show and you’re spending a thousand dollars a day on glam and $70,000 on rent,” Heather continued.
“What the hell are you thinking? Watch a makeup tutorial and get a smaller place,” she concluded.

After seeing the comedian’s post, Meredith reacted to her claims with a message of her own.
“While I have not spoken about what I spend, I appreciate your concern. It is only irresponsible to spend what you cannot afford. Fortunately, I live well below my means. No need to worry. Sincerely, Meredith Marks JD-MBA-DJ,” she stated.
