Lala Kent spoke of her daughter Ocean’s friendship with Summer Moon, the daughter of Scheana Shay, on Amazon Live earlier this week amid their messy feud, which began after Scheana accused Lala of failing to properly support her book.
While also dishing on The Valley cast’s trip to Mexico, looking ahead to a filmed theme party for season three, and reacting to leaked photos from production, the 35-year-old Vanderpump Rules alum shared which of her castmates she’s closest to and gave fans a look at a sweet note that Ocean recently wrote to Summer.
“Summer and Ocean are still friends,” Lala confirmed on Amazon Live, via a clip shared on Instagram by Vanderpod Recaps.
“Ocean writes little notes,” she continued. “This is what’s on my whiteboard right now … It says, ‘I love you, Summer,’ and then it says, ‘Ocean.’”

While Lala recently suggested that she has no immediate plans to reconcile with Scheana, 40, she made it clear that she didn’t want their ongoing drama to affect the friendship of their 4-year-old daughters.
“They are cute little friends. They have a heyday at school, which I love because they’ve known each other literally since birth, and so that’s a friendship that needs to stay incubated and protected, you know, to the best of our ability,” she stated.
Moving on to The Valley‘s cast trip to Mexico, Lala admitted she was “exhausted.”
“I just absorb energy so quickly and then it becomes debilitating,” she explained, adding that she was in a bit of a “funk.”
In addition to filming in Mexico, Lala said she and her castmates will soon record a themed party thrown by Brittany Cartwright, 36.
“I’m not gonna tell you guys what the theme is because it’s gonna be filmed, but I’m so bummed that it’s not like just, ‘Wear whatever you want,’ because I would be Cruella de Vil,” she shared. “However, wearing certain costumes [can be an issue], and we know Disney has that on lock.”
While Lala has confirmed her return to The Valley, she hasn’t yet said whether she’ll be full-time or part-time. Instead, as she shared at another moment of her livestream, also via Vanderpod Recaps on Instagram, she’ll be featured in “some capacity.”
As for the images that have surfaced on social media, Lala said they took her and her co-stars by surprise.
“Photos started being taken, like we were literally filming, and photos were being posted in real time. We’re literally sitting at the location looking around, being like, ‘Who took these photos? Like, we’re still here and they’re already on the internet,’” she recalled.
Then, when asked which cast member she was closest to, Lala first named Janet Caperna, 36.
“We’ve gotten extremely close even before I started filming with them. But I would say I’m the closest with Janet, [Michelle Saniei], and Brittany,” Lala revealed. “Those are my friends who, whether we’re filming or not, we’re very close … They’re like my little safe space.”
“Michelle and I, our friendship has grown astronomically. I adore her,” she added.
The Valley season three is expected to premiere on Bravo sometime in early 2026.
