Nia Sanchez-Booko is apologizing after going on a rant against homeless people on her Instagram Story.

After facing backlash over the now-deleted post, in which she complained that a park was “infested” with “unhoused” people and seemingly suggested that certain individuals were on drugs, the 35-year-old cast member of The Valley admitted that the language she used was wrong.

“There’s holes everywhere, construction tape, it’s broken down,” Nia said of the park in the video, via a report from Taste of Reality on November 13. “[It’s] infested with unhoused people who, the ones that are awake, seem like they are partaking of things that are not healthy.”

According to Nia, who shares four kids under four with her husband, Danny Booko, 42, their children were “screaming bloody murder” throughout the park visit.

“Small things and big things went wrong,” she wrote in a caption seen on Reddit, adding, “This park is full of unhoused people. One is bathing at a sink.”

Following the sharing of the post, Nia was described as tone deaf as she responded to a fan in a DM.

As seen in another screenshot on Reddit, the fan sent a message to Nia in regard to the dehumanizing language she used and received a response.

“100% agree. I honestly don’t know why I used that word and removed the story. It was not the right choice. I’m truly sorry,” Nia stated.
