Mary Cosby‘s son, Robert Cosby, Jr., was arrested earlier this month after an incident at the home of his estranged wife Alexiana’s parents.

Following a series of arrests in September and years of sobriety struggles, the only child of the 53-year-old Real Housewives of Salt Lake City star was taken into custody on several charges, including two counts of violating Alexiana’s protection order against him.

Starcasm confirmed the news of Robert Jr.’s November 9 arrest on November 14, sharing that he was in jail in Utah and revealing the other charges against him, which included one count each of criminal mischief with loss over $5,000, interfering with a peace officer, assault on a peace officer, and failure to stop at the command of law enforcement.

The outlet also noted that Robert Jr. was described as having an “elevated risk of committing a violent crime” in his Public Safety Assessment Report.

As RHOSLC fans may recall, Alexiana took out an order of protection against him after he was arrested in September. And that order likely required Robert Jr. to stay away from her parents’ home, where she resides.

According to an affidavit, Alexiana’s parents called the police after being contacted by their 12-year-old son while they were at the store and told them that “the suspect was outside and loud banging noises could be heard.”

Upon viewing home surveillance cameras, the parents saw Robert “kicking his mother-in-law’s vehicle.”

Once they returned home and met with the police, the authorities were able to track down the young reality star. However, Robert Jr. wouldn’t go down without a fight and reportedly tried to get away from officers by “pulling away,” “kicking,” and allegedly biting.

Following his arrest, officers witnessed “significant property damage, including a broken front window, damaged siding, and a rock thrown through the window of the victim’s mother-in-law’s Mercedes vehicle.”

In addition to Robert Jr.’s actions being caught on video, he also “admitted on body-worn camera that he was aware of the protective orders that had been served against him but chose to go to the residence anyway. The suspect further admitted to causing the property damage and resisting arrest.”

Starcasm also shared details about Robert’s September arrests, sharing that the first occurred after he allegedly entered Alexiana’s parents’ home through the doggie door and went to her bedroom, “causing her to fear for her safety, where he remained despite him being asked to leave by both his wife and his wife’s father.”

As for the second, that took place two days later, after Robert Jr. reportedly texted Alexiana 11 times and returned to her parents’ home, where he punched his father-in-law “numerous times.”

In a police report, it was noted that Robert said he “hears the victim’s voice in his head telling him to come to the house.”

“This has significantly effected the victim family, where the 11 year old brother is so scared of [Robert] he can’t sleep in his own room,” it also stated.

According to a separate report shared Monday, Robert Jr. is still behind bars.

“Robert Cosby Jr. is still in custody per the SLC inmate directory. He hasn’t been offered bail. Today marks day 9,” Sutton’s Roller revealed on X on November 17.

The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City season six airs Tuesdays at 8/7c on Bravo.
