Love Is Blind stars Brennon Lemieux and Alexa Lemieux announced their separation in December 2025. Now, he’s opening up about the reasoning behind their split in his court filing.
Brennon, 35, and Alexa, 31, tied the knot in 2021 while filming season three of Love Is Blind. The couple welcomed a baby girl in July 2024 and announced her birth the following month via an Instagram post.
US Weekly obtained the official divorce documents. In them, Brennon alludes to what went wrong, saying their marriage had “become insupportable” as a result of “conflict of personalities.” Brennon also claimed in the filing that the conflicts stood in the way of any “reasonable expectation of reconciliation.”
He also asked the court for the ability to retain any assets he had before the marriage. Brennon also hopes to come to a “written agreement” regarding custody of their daughter. Per the filing, “If such an agreement is made, [Brennon] requests that the court approve that agreement and adopt it as the Court’s order. If such an agreement is not made, [he] requests the court to make orders for conservatorship of, possession of, access to, and support of the child.”
It’s also worth noting that, based on footage from Love Is Blind, they did not sign a prenuptial agreement. They famously went back and forth on the decision to come to an agreement before getting married.
Alexa announced their separation on Instagram on December 3. She began, “After much reflection and many heartfelt conversations, we have made the difficult decision to end our marriage. This choice was not made lightly, and it comes with a great deal of care, respect, and appreciation for the time we’ve shared.”
Alexa then said, “We entered this relationship with love and optimism, and we leave it with gratitude for the experiences that shaped us and the growth we each gained along the way. While our journey as a married couple is coming to an end, we remain supportive of one another, devoted to our daughter, and committed to navigating this transition with compassion.”
She continued, “We kindly ask for privacy as we move forward and focus on our individual paths while keeping our precious daughter as our top priority.”
