Jacqueline Laurita has reportedly been approached about appearing on the upcoming 20th season of The Real Housewives of Orange County.
Just as the 55-year-old Real Housewives of New Jersey alum was spotted hanging out with Jennifer Pedranti, 48, and Gretchen Rossi, 46, both of whom were featured on the series’ 19th season, a rumor surfaced on X.
“There’s a rumor that Jacqueline Laurita has been approached for [RHOC] S20…” wrote @Bravo_Joshuaaa on December 15.
Although Bravo has only confirmed one cast member, Vicki Gunvalson, 63, for season 20, multiple production insiders revealed to Radar Online on December 15 that the allegation about Jacqueline was “true.”
“[Jacqueline] has been approached several times about joining the cast of RHOC season 20,” one source said. “It’s uncertain if it will happen, as it depends on a lot of factors.”
“But she definitely has been asked and is a contender to be on Season 20 of the show,” added another insider.
Meanwhile, a third source insisted, “No one aside from Vicki has been officially ‘cast’ on the show at this time. Things remain in limbo for the current cast, and no one is sure who will be back and who won’t be.”
News of Jacqueline’s reported communication with RHOC producers came around the time of her outing with Jennifer, Gretchen, and their partners, including Chris Laurita, 55, Ryan Boyajian, 49, and Slade Smiley, 52.
“FUN FACT: guess who our new neighbors are!!?” Jennifer asked on Instagram. “[Jacqueline Laurita] and Chris moved in the neighborhood (literally one street over!! So fun!) We have been wanting to get together with them! … Thank you [Gretchen Rossi] for making it happen! When RHONJ [and] RHOC collide … What a fun night!”
Following the sharing of the post, many spoke of Jacqueline’s potential crossover.
“Maybe she will join the housewives next season!” one person wrote.
“No idea!!! But she’s a great girl, amazing mother, and Chris her husband is beyond kind! Wonderful evening!!!” Jennifer replied.
Then, after someone else said, “Jacqueline is my girl!!! Get back on my TV queen,” former RHOC cast member Lizzie Rovsek, 45, added, “Love all of you! [Jacqueline Laurita] is the sweetest!!!”
The ladies’ night together came just after Vicki reunited with Tamra Judge, 58, and Katie Ginella, 41, for a holiday outing with their own partners.
Filming on The Real Housewives of Orange County season 20 is expected to begin early next year.
