West Wilson and Ciara Miller reportedly hooked up prior to Tuesday’s reveal of his romance with Amanda Batula.
Amid claims of a private investigator obtaining a video of West, 31, and Amanda, 34, having sex at his apartment, which was ultimately viewed by Ciara, 30, and after insiders suggesting West was also “exclusively” dating Meija Moreno, 28, several sources are speaking out about West’s relationship with Ciara, which has been playing out on recent episodes of Summer House season 10.
“West was hitting on Ciara, and they had hooked up recently, about three to four weeks ago,” a source told Us Weekly on April 3. “[Ciara] didn’t know anything about Amanda … No one did.”
As fans will recall, West and Ciara first engaged in a romance during the eighth season in 2023. Then, after splitting shortly thereafter, with Ciara accusing West of playing her like a “game,” West apologized and did his best to smooth things over throughout season nine. By season 10, things between them had gotten to a much better place, with each of them confessing to having lingering “feelings” for one another.
Now, months after filming wrapped at the end of last summer, Ciara has been faced with not only heartbreak from West but a betrayal from her former best friend.
According to a second source, West and Ciara were together as recently as “mid-to-late February,” but according to a third, who was close to West, it was “not true” that he and Ciara were hooking up.
Still, a fourth insisted, “Ciara and West were rekindling and seeing if it would work again recently.”
While the timeline of West’s romances remains unclear, fans are beginning to question whether Ciara, or someone in their friend group, hired a PI to investigate.
“Ok. So a close source says the intimate video of West [and] Amanda that Ciara seen was of them having sex … all alleged! And the PI was really involved,” BravoLoveBaby reported on Instagram. “Who hired him is still in question. But if Ciara had to see that … Sick to my stomach for her. There’s more to this story that I’m sure we’ll find out at the reunion. This part has entirely shocked me.”
“Truly in shock right now,” the outlet continued. “So many layers to unpack with this but I’m not even going to go there because this is next level. [And] some illegal stuff that could have taken place by this video. Again all alleged from a source. Wow wow wow. All so disturbing.”

In the comments section of the post, some fans suspected that the rumor of a PI was nothing more than a “crisis spin” by West and Amanda made in an effort to get the heat off them.
“This whole PI story is bizarre. I truly hope it’s not true because regardless of the situation, it’s a crazy thing to do. Having an investigator track and video private moments of a man you’re not even dating is just wild. I feel for Ciara but this takes to a very weird place. Really hoping it’s not true and someone made it up to make her look ‘bad,'” one person wrote.
“If a Pi was hired, thats a bit extreme. If I had to hire a PI to catch my ex & friend together, that would be all I needed to know to stay away from both of them. I wouldn’t need photographic images,” noted a second.
“I don’t think that [it was] crazy if Ciara hired a professional to see if the people she thought were lying to her were lying to her? These anti-Ciara comments are kinda wild,” added a third.
