Kelsey Swanson discussed her secret boyfriend during a recent episode of Watch What Happens Live, confirming that her mystery man is actually the “biggest Housewives fan.”
As Jo-Ellen Tiberi and Rosie DiMare continued to feud, just as they did during the premiere episode of The Real Housewives of Rhode Island, and the cast labeled Jo-Ellen as the series’ “biggest pot-stirrer,” Rulla Pontarelli shared her husband’s reaction to her joining the cast, and Ashley Iaconetti compared the show to her former television home, The Bachelor.
“He’s the biggest Housewives fan. He’s a realist TV junkie. Hardcore. He knows every season. He knows what season Erika Jayne’s husband [Thomas Girardi] went to jail. He knows everything, and he loves it. Very supportive,” Kelsey confirmed of her unnamed partner, rumored to be John Caprio, on WWHL.
Then, after Rulla said she trusted Jo-Ellen the least and Alicia Carmody suggested Jo-Ellen made a habit of gossiping in a “bad way,” the ladies appeared on the WWHL: After Show, where Jo-Ellen butted heads with Rosie.
“From what I remember, cuz I don’t forget anything, [Jo-Ellen] said that I was evil and disgusting and that even children wouldn’t like me,” Rosie explained to host Andy Cohen about their issues.
“Don’t forget the cheap wine and stale cookies,” Jo-Ellen interjected.
“And that I brought cheap wines and that I brought stale cookies and that I’m just a disgusting, horrible human being that doesn’t deserve to exist,” Rosie continued as Jo-Ellen claimed her shade was “a little embellished, as usual.”
“I don’t think I said that out loud. I really don’t think I said it,” Jo-Ellen insisted. “She was great with my daughter. But she did bring the cheap wine. She did bring the cheap cookies — stale cookies … I wouldn’t go somewhere with a bottle under $40, but the cookies, I gave them to my dog.”
Meanwhile, on the live broadcast, Jo-Ellen took back her “evil” diss against Rosie, saying that she didn’t stand by it as they revisited their feud over Jo-Ellen’s suggestion that Rosie’s local news show had very few views on social media.
“Well, the joke’s on her because my show isn’t on social media. It’s on Saturday mornings and Sunday mornings at 6:30 in the morning. So you could turn it on, ABC 6,” Rosie declared.
Jo-Ellen then addressed rumors that she and husband Gary Tiberi were swingers.
“There’s no truth to that. I don’t know where they came from. I can tell you that my neighbors, actually across the street, heard them, and they would put these upside-down pineapples on my lawn. So we went across, and we kept on putting them back. And now the whole neighborhood thinks we’re swingers,” she laughed.
When Andy questioned Rulla about how her husband, podiatrist Brian Pontarelli, felt about her becoming a housewife, she confirmed that he was “very supportive.”
“He was excited. He knows that I’ve always been a housewives fan, and he’s willing to roll with the punches,” she shared.
As for Ashley, she said that while The Bachelor likes to make it seem like every season’s gonna be its most dramatic, nothing can compare to the Real Housewives.
“Of all the four I’ve been on, this has been the most dramatic, and it is not Bachelor-related,” she explained.
Also on the WWHL: After Show, Ashley was asked which castmate made her cry the most.
“It’s not really one particular lady,” she clarified. “They’re all wonderful, but I think that it’s just because it took a little bit longer for them to get to know me, so it was a lot of like, ‘What are you about? Tell us about yourself!’ And I was like, ‘I’m not sure what to talk about. I don’t know what you need to know.’ So I don’t know. I just cry when I talk about myself sometimes.”
The Real Housewives of Rhode Island season one airs Sundays at 9/8c on Bravo.
