Stassi Schroeder revealed why a reunion with Kristen Doute won’t be happening anytime soon during an interview earlier this week.
As she promoted her new reality show, House of Stassi, which follows her as she navigates her marriage to husband, Beau Clark, 46, and her friendship with Katie Maloney, 40, following a secret falling out, Stassi, 37, addressed a potential reconciliation with the Witches of WeHo as she also explained why she turned down a role on the Vanderpump Rules reboot.
“Not yet,” Stassi told Decider of a possible reunion with Kristen. “You know, there’s a little thing called, like, exclusivity, and I don’t think NBCUniversal would give me Kristen for a second.”

Then, speaking to Entertainment Tonight in a video shared on Facebook, Stassi recalled how Scheana Shay, 41, had leaked that she had been offered a role on Pump Rules season 12, which saw an entirely new cast at Lisa Vanderpump‘s SUR Restaurant and Lounge.
Sharing why she was not open to the idea, Stassi said, “If I was gonna come back and do reality TV again, it was gonna be my way.”
Moving on to her new show, House of Stassi, which is set to premiere on Freeform this summer, Stassi admitted it was a long time coming.
“I can’t actually believe it’s real. Like, every time somebody asks me about it, I’m like, ‘We’ve been working on this since before I conceived my son [two-year-old Messer], okay? So that’s over three years,’” she revealed. “It’s just like a full labor of love, and I’m surrounded by the people that I love the most and my chosen family, and to be able to like, show the world where we’re at now, it’s awesome.”
Although her recurring role on Vanderpump Villa features her on vacation, Stassi said House of Stassi “got a lot more real” and came with “a lot more pressure.”
“I had forgotten how much pressure there is when you’re on a reality show, and I was on an ensemble cast with Vanderpump Rules. Vanderpump Villa, that is a treat. That is the best job in the world. Please hire me back. Because you get paid to just go have fun, and it’s very low stakes for me. Then to have my show again with my husband and my best friend that I’ve had for a really long time, that we’ve had a falling out, it’s a lot,” she admitted, “and I feel really vulnerable at times and like, after we wrapped, I was like, ‘What did I do?’ I’m like, ‘Did I just blow my whole life up?’”
“[But] all I can do is just open myself up, cut myself open, let it out and hope that someone relates to that,” she added.
House of Stassi season one premieres on July 29 on Freeform and streams the next day on Hulu.
