Carl Radke slammed West Wilson’s actions at the Summer House reunion, hinting he didn’t take “accountability.” The star also called West “diabolical,” and he shared the last time he communicated with West and Amanda Batula.
On part one of the reunion, Amanda and West seemingly showed little remorse as they were questioned about their controversial relationship, which they kept a secret from Amanda’s good friend Ciara Miller (West’s ex) and West’s good friend Kyle Cooke (Amanda’s estranged husband). At one point, past footage showed West introducing Ciara and Kyle to his family out of state.
In an interview for Us Weekly, Carl reacted to West’s behavior at the reunion.
“I think a lot of us were hoping to feel the feeling you get when someone actually apologizes and takes accountability,” he said. “Especially watching it now, I didn’t feel it.”
“That’s what’s hard. People are really hurt. Ciara, Kyle,” he said. “[Kyle]’s my best friend. And watching that s**t, the footage of West at his family house with Kyle. Like, he not only brought Ciara home, he brought Kyle home. And then does that. It’s just diabolical.”
Speaking to PEOPLE at a reunion watch party, Carl shared that he hasn’t spoken in person to Amanda or West since the April 23 reunion taping.
“That was a crazy exercise to watch the reunion in front of people watching it also and then looking at us while we’re watching it,” he said. “It’s awkward.”
“I sat next to West and Amanda, so I’m on the same couch as them so I didn’t see their faces [at the time]. So some of their facial reactions were disappointing beyond belief,” the star added. “I don’t feel some of the energy that I was hoping to feel, which is like, you know, you can tell when someone cares.”
“West has reached out to me [since the reunion]. I haven’t responded,” he explained. “Amanda has reached out to me after the reunion, but I was in London running the marathon. We texted a little bit back, but I haven’t spoken to her since that. Yeah, I haven’t spoken to them.”
Carl said cryptically that he’s “holding space” regarding his friendship with both of them.
“There’s a difference [between holding and needing space]. I don’t need space from them,” he said. “I just don’t have energy for people that aren’t real. So I can be around them.”
“I just don’t have anything to say to you and I don’t care,” he went on. “So, yeah, I mean, I wish them all the best. I don’t wish any [ill] will for them. I hope they’re having fun in Rome.”
Before the reunion aired, Amanda and West flew to Italy together.
