Nia Booko detailed a “creepy” run-in she had with Donald Trump and his friends amid her Miss USA days on a podcast.
As she looked back on her experience with the current U.S. President, the 36-year-old cast member of The Valley admitted that she and her fellow pageant queens did not feel comfortable with Donald, 80, and confirmed that one of the men had touched her without permission.
“When Trump owned the Miss USA/Miss Universe organization, there was one time when he brought all of his golf buddies to come watch all of us rehearse,” Nia recalled in a sneak peek at the July 7 episode of Not Skinny But Not Fat shared by Us Weekly. “It was actually kind of creepy.”
According to Nia, she and the rest of the women didn’t feel “very comfortable” with the men during the interaction.
“We were in the middle of rehearsals, and he brought all of these older men in to watch us perform,” she continued, adding that the men asked for pictures.
“I definitely, very intentionally, [grabbed] and released one of their hands very specifically,” Nia claimed. “I was like, ‘Don’t ever put your hands on me without asking.’”
As The Valley fans may know, Nia was named Miss USA in 2014 and went on to be the first runner-up in the Miss Universe pageant later that year.
Ten years later, in a post shared on Instagram, Nia reflected on the milestone anniversary.
“10 years ago my journey to Miss USA and Miss Universe started when I was crowned [Miss Nevada]. I will forever be grateful for the love and support of my friends and family and the leadership of [Shanna Moakler],” she captioned the January 2024 post. “Wow. This day truly changed the trajectory of my life. God is good.”

Nia went on to marry her husband, Danny Booko, 42, in 2015, and in the years since, they’ve welcomed four kids.
The Valley season three airs Wednesdays at 8/7c on Bravo.
