Producers are being accused of editing The Valley reunion to make it look like Danny Booko was lying, as fans point out a strange discrepancy between Bravo’s version and the uncensored version on Peacock.
On the latest season of The Valley, Lala Kent led the charge against Danny’s drinking, insinuating in most episodes that he has a major problem. Janet Caperna backed up her claims, and in the season finale, she even threw a drink in Danny’s face. Though Danny apologized for his controversial behavior, he also maintained that certain co-stars were still trying to take him down (which was allegedly Jax Taylor’s mission last season).
According to @RHOReceipts on X, Peacock removed an editing discrepancy in Danny’s answer when asked if he drank at Jasmine Goode‘s wedding.
On the uncensored and extended version on Peacock, when Andy Cohen asked Danny if he drank at the wedding, Danny said openly, “I did, yeah.”
But on the episode that aired on Bravo, Danny’s answer was the exact opposite.
“Were you drinking at the wedding?” asked Andy.
“Uh…” Danny answered, looking away, as if considering how to respond, “No.”
Fans then shared their reactions in the comments.
“They got caught red handed cutting it to make him look like he was lying about drinking. In reality, he was honest,” wrote one fan. “How much else of this story has been edited to make Danny look bad because that’s what the producers, Brittany, and Janet needed to deflect from their behavior.”
“So Bravo showed him lying about drinking at the wedding on live tv and then uploaded a version where he told the truth that he was drinking and then removed it and then reposted it,” echoed another fan.
“The irony of Bravo being dishonest in its attempt to make Danny look dishonest,” wrote a third.
“The Bookos should leave, hire attorneys, and sue,” claimed a fourth. “Their bosses were deceptively editing footage to defame them during the reunion at MINIMUM. It’s one thing if a cast gangs up on people. [But] a network and production in on it?”
“@Andy and @BravoTV, y’all got some explaining to do,” said a fifth. “You owe Danny an apology for this editing.”
A sixth added, “They are really trying to take down Danny and Nia.”
