Bethenny Frankel was kicked out of an Uber ride over the weekend and took to Twitter to express her disgust.
After explaining what led up to her driver requesting she and her daughter, Bryn, get out of his vehicle, the former Real Housewives of New York City cast member was met with backlash from her fans and followers. Many of her followers sided with her Uber driver and slammed her as “rude” and “entitled.”
“My [Uber] driver just charged me 30 dollars, told my daughter she couldn’t play the ukelele in the car, told us to get out & that he refunded us which wasn’t true. This sort of thing could land me in prison,” Bethenny tweeted.
As soon as she shared the tweet, Bethenny was met with criticism from fans who found her behavior to be “rude” and suggested she shouldn’t have allowed her daughter to play the instrument in the first place.

“A driver has to be able to listen to traffic sounds eg sirens, honking, motorcycles, etc. It is his vehicle, if he asks to you/your kid to stop playing, stop playing or find another car. It’s that simple,” one person wrote.
“Don’t be so entitled, Bethenny. And don’t teach [Bryn] bad behaviors,” the person added.

Nobody wants to hear the ukulele when they’re sitting still and doing absolutely nothing! What makes you think the driver wants to hear it while he’s operating a vehicle? I mean besides your sense of entitlement? pic.twitter.com/2WtPJU0Izj

“I never expected the rest of the world to find my kids as adorable & amazing as I did. Unless you want to raise a total brat, don’t inflict crap like this on anyone. A ukulele in a car is absurd. Get over it,” another person tweeted.

Despite the backlash, Bethenny continued to express her frustration with Uber in a second tweet and demanded the $30 she paid the driver be donated to her B Strong charity.
“I will stalk [Uber] until they donate the 30 dollars to #bstrong I’m a principle girl. I’d spend 1k to make that guy give the 30 back,” she stated.
“I like you And all. But that’s counter productive. And a little ego driven,” a follower replied.
