Following reports of Real Housewives of New York star LuAnn de Lesseps’ ex Tom D’Agostino being engaged to LuAnn’s former friend Anna Rothschild, Anna is now speaking out to clear up the rumors and also revealing her true feelings about Tom!
But first there is a new report on exes LuAnn and Tom crossing paths when they ran into each other at a recent party! So how did it go?
Us Weekly is reporting that Luann and Tom ran into each other at a NYC party on Thursday for the first time in public since their split. And according to sources, all went well as the two exchanged pleasantries.
“Neither of them were on dates, just there with friends,” an insider revealed. “Tom and Luann said hello and kissed each other on the cheek, and then both went to separate sides of the party. They did not hang out again for the rest of the night. They were civil, but not trying to spend the entire night together.”
In fact, US also reports that the two still stay in touch. “They text and talk to each other, but its not super in depth,” a source revealed earlier this month. “They’re just checking in.”
Moving on to other Tom news as it was reported two weeks ago that Tom, 50, had not only moved on with new girlfriend Anna, 52, but that he was also engaged to the social/publicist whom he has known for 15 years. In fact Anna was photographed several times with Tom flashing a beautiful ring that looked to be an engagement one. So what gives?
Well in a new interview with the Daily Mail, Anna denies an engagement. “Tom and I are not engaged at the moment,” says Anna to the Daily Mail.
She does go on to reveal that her 22 carat ring, estimated to be worth about $2 million, that she recently started wearing is simply “a gift.”
Anna however doesn’t hide her feelings for Tom, making it clear she would love to be his wife!
“I would love to marry him because he’s such a great guy, maybe one of the most amazing men I’ve ever met,” said Anna. “But the timing isn’t right for us at the moment,” she added.
