A week after his divorce to Yolanda Hadid was finalized, David Foster is speaking out on his ex-wife and super famous model step-daughters!
In a new interview, David reveals if he still has a relationship with Gigi and Bella Hadid following his divorce from their mother, former Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star, Yolanda.
“I mean divorce puts a strain on everybody, yeah but Gigi and Bella are doing amazing and they’re so busy that I don’t talk to them much but we do text, yeah we’re still good,” said David to the DailyMailTV.
The topic then turned to his ex Yolanda’s new book Believe Me: My Battle with the Invisible Disability of Lyme Disease
David attempted to take the high road though he was honest about his “disappointment” with what she choose to share about their marriage in her book.
“Yolanda had to write a book about her journey with her disease. In a way, I was a little bit of a drive by shooting in the book, but uhm, we’re all good now. She’s happy, she’s healthy. She’s with her kids in New York, she’s on her farm. In a ten year, nine-year relationship you can find ten bad things to say about anybody,” said David. “And it’s a little disappointing that she went there a few times but the main thing is she’s happy, she’s healthy and her and I are good.”
He also denies her illness played a role in their split. “No, I don’t think it did,” he stated.
When it comes to the 67-yr-old’s much younger girlfriend, 33-yr-old Katharine McPhee, David plays coy. “Katharine and I have known each other since [American] Idol, since she was twenty-one, and we’ve worked together and you know she’s super successful and people can just be friends you know?” he said.
I will go out on a limb and say these two are definitely more than friends after Katharine was photographed grabbing his derriere last week!
