The show must go on.
Just days after last season’s Married at First Sight couple Nate and Sheila announced their divorce along with some cheating accusations, the premiere date for the sixth season has just been revealed!
The Lifetime network has just announced that MAFS season 6 will debut Tuesday, January 2 at 9/8c. As usual, the matchmaking special will air right before the season six premiere at 8/7c.
The upcoming season is also heading to Boston.
The press release promises, “In season six of “Married at First Sight,” Boston area singles yearning for a life-long partnership agree to a provocative proposal: getting legally married to a stranger the moment they first meet.”
The returning experts include sociologist Dr. Pepper Schwartz and marriage counselor Pastor Calvin Roberson who will be joined by Boston-based psychologist and Professor Dr. Jessica Griffin.
Here’s to hoping these new couples will fare better than the season 5 couples as only one couple, Anthony and Ashley, remain together.
