Real Housewives of New York City star Luann de Lesseps is now facing 5 years in prison after she was officially charged with a felony three weeks following her now infamous drunken arrest.
If you recall, Luann, 52, was arrested in Palm Beach, FL on Christmas Eve after she trespassed and entered the wrong hotel room with a mystery man. The hotel security ended up having to call the police after Luann refused to leave the room. Once cops arrived, she locked herself in the hotel bathroom and then allegedly attacked police officers. She also tried to escape from the backseat of the patrol car, all while threatening the cops by yelling, “I’m going to f–king kill all of you.”
TMZ is reporting that Luann actually caught somewhat of a break as she was originally facing 3 felony charges. Instead, she has now been charged with one felony count of resisting an officer with violence.

Additionally, she is facing two misdemeanors for trespassing and disorderly intoxication. The felony count alone could lead to up to 5 years in prison.
As we reported, Luann entered rehab following her arrest although she returned home this week and thanked everyone for their support. It’s unclear just how long she actually spent in rehab.
For the time being, she has resumed filming for the upcoming season of RHONY.
