Tyler Baltierra went to visit his wife Catelynn Lowell in rehab over the weekend and while there, he shared a photo and an update with his fans and followers on Instagram.
Weeks after the Teen Mom OG star traveled to Arizona to be treated for issues of depression and anxiety, Baltierra got on a plane in Michigan and traveled south to reunite with his wife.
“Seeing this gorgeous woman and all the work she has done has given me such hope, a feeling of peace, and unconditional love that is hard to explain with words,” he wrote. “It was a very emotionally intense Family Week Program, but I know that our love and commitment towards each other will persevere through anything this life throws our way.”
“I’m so proud of you babe and I can’t wait until you finally come home so I can just hug you and hold you for as long as I want,” he continued. “You are worthy…You are strong…You are beautiful…You are loved! Thank you for not giving up on your life.”
Baltierra then shared a second post with two side-by-side photos of himself and Lowell and spoke of the ups and downs of their 12-year relationship.
“Marriage and relationships aren’t always sunshine and rainbows,” he admitted. “I believe love begins as a feeling, but evolves into a choice. A choice to sacrifice for that person, a choice of dedicated commitment to one another and understanding the selfless acts that are required from both to maintain serenity.”
Baltierra and Lowell have been together since fans first met them on 16 & Pregnant nearly a decade ago and throughout Lowell’s mental health struggles, Baltierra has remained strong and supportive.
Lowell is currently in the midst of a six-week treatment program.
During recent episodes of Teen Mom OG, Baliterra and Lowell have been overjoyed at the news of Lowell’s pregnancy. However, as fans have likely noticed, Lowell doesn’t appear to be currently pregnant and is rumored to have miscarried at some point last year.
