Bethenny Frankel is reportedly planning to quit her full-time role on The Real Housewives of New York City following the completion of filming on season 10.
Although Frankel hasn’t yet announced anything publicly, an insider claims the longtime reality star and Skinnygirl creator isn’t hiding the fact that she is planning to walk away from the show.
“Bethenny is telling anyone who will listen that she’s quitting,” an insider revealed to Radar Online on March 13.
Unfortunately for Frankel, no one is too concerned about her potential exit. In fact, producers of The Real Housewives of New York City are reportedly on board with her calling it quits and her co-stars wouldn’t miss her either.
“Every season she says she wants to quit, but this year the producers were like, ‘Let us know how you want to write yourself off the show,’” the source continued. “All the producers want her gone.”
As for Frankel’s co-stars, the source claimed the ladies are “all fine” with the idea that Frankel may not be appearing on any further seasons of the show because they are sick of Frankel’s “bad attitude.”
“They don’t like the pressure of her coming in hot and ready to take them down one day and then being fun and loving the next,” a show insider previously told Radar.
Continuing on, the first source said that while Frankel may be telling everyone that she’s ready to walk away from the series where she gained fame, others suspect she will soon use her “announcement” as a bargaining tool for the show’s upcoming season.
“It is likely that Bethenny will renegotiate and come back next season,” the insider explained. “She [threatens to quit] all the time. The difference is this year the producers and cast are done with her!”
The Real Housewives of New York City season 10 premieres on April 4 at 9 p.m. on Bravo TV.
