RHOC's Vicki Gunvalson Feels 'Attacked For No Reason' After Using Luke Perry's Death To Promote Her Insurance Company

Vicki Gunvalson doesn’t understand why she’s being flooded with backlash on Facebook.

After posting a message to her fans and followers about insurance, and using Luke Perry‘s death to make her point, the Real Housewives of Orange County star reportedly feels she’s being treated unfairly.

“Vicki feels upset that fans are giving her so much backlash over her recent Facebook post about Luke Perry,” a source close to the reality star explained to Hollywood Life.

“Frankly, she feels attacked for no reason and that her words were completely taken out of context, but Vicki is also aware that it’s really hard to do anything on social media without getting attacked these days,” the source continued. “She didn’t find anything wrong with it because she is a pro in the industry and was trying to just say that Luke was smart in his decision making. She never meant to offend or hurt anyone.”

On March 12, less than two weeks after a massive stroke took the life of the Beverly Hills, 90210 actor, Vicki posted the message below on Facebook and was immediately blasted by fans who labeled her “inappropriate” and “insensitive.”

RHOC Vicki Gunvalson Tries To Cash In On Luke Perry's Death

“Vicki often does things that may not be the right thing to do in order to garner attention or be funny. After all, that’s a huge thing she and RHOC co-stars Shannon Beador and Tamra Judge have argued with her over and even stopped being friends with her,” the insider shared. “She’s not really known for apologizing or taking accountability for her actions, so this move doesn’t surprise many.”

Although Vicki later edited her Facebook post and removed the link to her insurance company’s website, her online audience was still upset by the message.

“Another #tacky and #tasteless money grubbing move by ⁦@vgunvalson⁩ #RHOC. She loves riding the coattails of the sudden death of #LukePerry to promote her business. One more reason to hate Vicki. GROSS!!” one person wrote.

“Vile Vicky is such an A**HOLE…Hocking her business off the death of others…There is nothing redeemable about this woman,” added another.

The Real Housewives of Orange County season 14 is currently in production and expected to air on Bravo TV this summer.
