Teddi Mellencamp is opening up about the plastic surgery procedures she’s had done.
After sharing a couple of before and after photos of her weight loss and revealing details about her diet, the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star opened up about what prompted her decision to ditch processed foods and embark on a healthier lifestyle with clean eating and regular exercise.
Teddi, 37, explained that she began exercising regularly after the birth of her son Cruz but eventually was left feeling as if her weight loss had plateaued.
“I was feeling better mentally but physically I had stopped seeing change and still didn’t feel comfortable in my own skin,” she recalled in an Instagram post. “So I went to a plastic surgeon’s office and asked for a tummy tuck. She looked me dead in the eye and said no. She explained that even though I was working out hard, if I didn’t change the way I was eating, I would never see the results I wanted.”
Although Teddi left her plastic surgeon’s office mad, the moment ultimately served as inspiration for a healthier lifestyle and clean eating.
“That’s when I realized I can’t look at my health as summer is coming and I have to fit into that bathing suit; I need a full lifestyle change. I have now maintained this lifestyle change for 3.5 years,” Teddi wrote. “Remember, this is a lifestyle change not a diet.”
And during an interview with OK! Magazine days ago, Teddi, who recently launched her All IN by Teddi fitness gear line, spoke further about her plastic surgery procedures.
“I don’t regret getting my breast implants. I was in a really good place in my life when I decided to get them,” she explained.
According to Teddi, she decided to pass on the tummy tuck and instead settle for breast implants.
”I like them. I think they are appropriate. They are polite implants,” she joked.

As for the future, Teddi said that while she doesn’t have any procedures planned out at the moment, she’s not saying she would never go under the knife again. That said, for now she’s happy with her implants and regular Botox injections.
