Even though it has been nearly two years since this Southern Charm couple went their separate ways, Craig Conover is still having to defend himself over rumors that he still has feelings for his ex-girlfriend Naomie Olindo.
In last week’s episode, we saw that neither Craig nor Naomie has been able to fully move past their breakup, causing complications when the group wants to go on a trip to Colorado.
“I don’t want to go,” Naomie told Cameran Eubanks. “Why would I go on a trip with my ex-boyfriend? I don’t want to go because I don’t even want to have to tell [my current boyfriend].” Naomie is currently in a relationship with anesthesiologist Metul Shah. She feels that while she has moved on, Craig hasn’t.
“Where I am with stuff with Craig is a totally different place than where I think where Craig is,” she explained, defending her decision not to go to Colorado.
Craig, on the other hand, had a different perspective on the situation. When asked by Cameran if he still loves Naomie, Craig responded, “I love her and hate her at the same time.” He explained further in a confessional when he said, “It’s just terrifying to think that she might have cost herself one of the best things that ever happened to her for no reason. That’s how I feel.”
That was then, though, and now Craig seems to be singing a different tune. On the Southern Charm Aftershow, he made a last-ditch effort to prove he wasn’t still under Naomie’s spell, saying he has actually dated a number of people since Naomie.
“She is the last thing that crosses my mind,” shared Craig on the After Show. “Since her I’ve dated, I think, like six people, and had a blast and traveled. I mean, it’s been a year and a half or two years.”
In more Craig news, he just announced this week that he has finally launched his ‘Sewing Down South‘ pillow line! He told his fans and followers on Instagram that his line, which is now being sold at the Swanky Southern Boutique store, actually sold out within an hour.
“So excited to be in our first store! This has been a crazy few weeks but the launch went off without a hitch,” wrote Craig on July 10. “Swanky Southern is an awesome store and we sold out in a little over an hour. Thanks to the great people of Camden for welcoming me and can’t wait to be back in town in a couple weeks.”
