The Vanderpump Rules cast joined forces to raise money for their friend and makeup artist who’s been diagnosed with leukemia.

The famous restaurant staff put their boxing gloves down, at least for one day, in order to show their collective support for Jared Lipscomb, their dear friend and makeup artist who’s currently battling leukemia.

The epic fundraiser that was held at SUR on October 12 boasted a slew of Vanderpump Rules stars, including Brittany Cartwright, Jax Taylor, Katie Maloney-Schwartz, Tom Schwartz, Stassi Schroeder and her fiancé Beau Clark, Ariana Madix, Tom Sandoval, and Kristen Doute. Even newbie cast member Dayna Kathan reportedly made an appearance, leading fans to believe she’s currently on good terms with the rest of the cast.

As fans who follow many of the Bravo stars already know, Jared, a makeup artist for many of the women on the cast, announced his unfortunate diagnosis on Instagram over the summer. Since then, Jared has been keeping fans up-to-date with his health status. He revealed just a couple of weeks ago that he’s in remission.

“I’m in remission! And although my journey battling leukemia is not over, I’m ready to get back to posting my first love on Instagram: makeup, especially now that I’m cleared to work until my transplant!💄.” Jared wrote alongside a photo of him in the hospital. “Thank you to everyone who continues to show support, trust me I’ll still need it, but for my own happiness I’m ready to start sharing my favorite art form again. 💄”

The Vanderpump Rules gang appeared to be in good spirits during the event and worked hard to sell tickets for what was presumed to be a raffle for people in attendance. In addition to raffles, the cast held silent auctions and photo ops. Plus, a portion of all sales at the restaurant was donated to Jared.

Jared posted some sweet photos of him and his friends from the event, thanking everyone who was involved.

“The love and support this group has shown me during this crazy time has lifted me up so much,” the makeup artist wrote in the post. “I can’t even express how much y’all mean to me and what you’ve done for me but I love you all!!! And clearly I lived my best life at the SUR fundraiser 😜💕🍸”

Reality star Scheana Marie was noticeably absent from the fundraising event, but according to her Instagram Stories, she was spending time in Oregon with her family.
