In last week’s episode, Leah grew a bit irritated at the ladies’ reaction to her sharing she has a “tramp stamp” tattoo of her name, with Dorinda Medley joking that it would help others remember her name if they forget it.
In a new interview with Hollywood Life, Leah explained how she thinks Dorinda might have regrets about bringing unnecessary attention to her tattoo and probably respects her for standing her ground.
“Oh I didn’t give Leah a fair chance because I have XYZ issue with Tinsley [Mortimer] or whatever and I think that Dorinda probably respected that I was like, ‘No, don’t say that to me,'” she stated. “I think Dorinda respects that kind of thing. I’m like, ‘Where am I? Do these people not live in New York?’”
In any event, Leah had a cheeky message for the ladies, photoshopping tattoos on all of their bodies in the RHONY cast photo on her Instagram.
“There, fixed it!” the reality star captioned the post, with the hashtags “#RHONY” and “#TrampStampForLife.”
And in another post from her Instagram Stories, Leah included a comment from a fan who shared a clip of Leah from last week’s show and thanked Leah for “explaining to this old lady that tattoos are normal!”
Ultimately, Leah’s “tramp stamp shade” is all in good fun, as she explained that she and Dorinda are in a good place these days.
“Sometimes you have to accept the bad with the good when it comes to friends,” she stated, noting how if you look at her social media, the two have successfully moved past their differences and remain good friends.
“I think that she is a very genuine, genuine person,” she conceded. “Looking back, maybe she wasn’t completely fulfilled with her relationship with [former boyfriend] John [Mahdessian]. She was dealing with the whole flooding of the house. It was a lot for her. It’s still no excuse and it’s not.”
