Luann de Lesseps is explaining why she purchased her Hudson River home and why she’s selling it just two years after its purchase.
The Real Housewives of New York City star has been spending so much of her time in quarantine in Sag Harbor with children Victoria, 25, and Noel, 23, that she and her family no longer have much need for their Port Ewen, NY home.
The 2,400 square-foot property overlooks the waterfront and has three bedrooms and three bathrooms. Located just at the base of the Catskill Mountains, the mid-century stunner features panoramic views of the river with a luxurious yet cozy interior aesthetic.
Luann bought the home two years ago after a stay at the Mohonk Mountain House in New Paltz. She explained that she appreciated the “privacy” and nature-rich locale.
Although Luann cherishes the property, she noted that she bought it just before launching her cabaret show and has only been able to visit “around 10 times in two years.”
“I have been hunkered down in my Hamptons home since COVID,” the reality star told The New York Post, further explaining her reasoning for putting the home up for sale.
One of the home’s best features is its outdoor space, with a private dock, boat ramp, and mooring available for water activities — you can see photos here.
“I fell in love with the area, the privacy, the lakes and the hiking trails. The house is really so beautiful, perched on the Hudson, and you can see all the ships passing,” Luann shared.
The property is just under one acre and currently listed at $1,150,000.
