Quad Webb is sharing more details about the new baby girl in her life.
After sharing adorable photos of Ariana, or “Ari,” as she welcomed her to the family on April 8, the Married to Medicine cast member is clarifying that she did not, in fact, adopt her.
“I am filling in the gaps, as there have been several rumors. I want to clarify that baby Ari is not my adopted daughter,” Quad confirmed to The Daily Dish on June 30. “My mom and I are in a supportive role for Ari, and while everyone is elated about the new addition to our family, she has a mother.”
Quad continued by explaining how she plans to give her “super beautiful baby girl” the best life and for fans to grant the family “privacy” during that time.
“I just want to be able to give her the best life possible, and I am responsible for that, and she’s gonna get that,” the 40-year-old shared. “We are the village here to support baby Ari. We appreciate your prayers and ask for privacy at this time.”
Quad, who finalized her split from ex-husband, Dr. Gregory Lunceford, in December 2019, first revealed her baby news back in May, and she spoke to The Daily Dish on June 24 regarding the “exciting news,” welcoming baby Ari to “her new village.”
“She was born on April 8th, and since then we have been working to get her home to begin what will surely be a joyous, successful and opportunity filled life,” Quad stated.
She also shared a touching photo to her Instagram on June 23 with a compelling message in support of the Black Lives Matter movement.
“Life is precious, it should be protected and valued #blacklivesmatter,” Quad captioned the post.
