Teresa Giudice shared photos and videos from an all-out 16th birthday party for her daughter Gabriella, and some fans weren’t too happy about it.
Critics on social media slammed the Real Housewives of New Jersey star for throwing her daughter a party where seemingly no guests wore face masks or observed social distancing guidelines per the current coronavirus pandemic.
In a now-deleted video, Teresa wished her daughter a “Happy Sweet 16th Birthday” as numerous family and friends gathered around to sing to the second eldest Giudice sister. The only person wearing a mask in the shot was the server handing Gabriella a candle.
A screenshot from Appian Entertainment, the event production party who organized the event, shows the details of the scene, with numerous people surrounding the 16-year-old at the center of the celebration.
“Curious to see how many COVID cases will come from this since you obviously didn’t require masks or social distancing,” one follower reportedly commented on Teresa’s since-deleted post according to Us Weekly.
“I was just thinking that… I’m not that brave to have a party yet,” another person wrote. “How this whole family hasn’t gotten covid I’ll never know.”
Comments on the event weren’t all negative, though, as numerous fans showed their support for the memorable festivities, which were held at the Dream Downtown hotel in New York City. The party featured a red-and-black theme, balloons from The Balloon Boss, flowers from Tremendous Florists, and a stunning, all-black cake from Palermo’s Bakery, giving Gabriella an affair to remember.
Even though she cleared the video of the soiree from her feed, Teresa wasn’t afraid to post a few photos of her and her daughter where she celebrated the “beautiful” young woman she’s grown into .

Father Joe Giudice also sent his love from Italy with an Instagram video that showed photos of his daughter over the years.
In a lengthy caption, Joe wrote out how the 16-year-old was “born fierce” and “confident,” praising her capabilities and noting how “proud” he was of her.
“Gabriella always know [sic] how thankful and incredibly proud I am of you. I know I have been hard on you at times. I set high expectations that you sometimes feel are impossible to reach,” he captioned the post. “You never ever disappointed us. We set those expectations because we want you to achieve everything you have ever wanted. I want all of your greatest dreams to come true. You deserve the absolute best that life has to offer. you helped mommy and me with your sisters so much and still do… Remember how loved you are. You are my sweet baby, your daddy’s little girl, your sister’s heroes. Happy Sweet 16 baby girl! Love always, Daddy.”
