Jackie Goldschneider and Joe Benigno, the husband of Margaret Josephs, are speaking out about recent rumors of a Real Housewives of New Jersey cast shakeup.
Following reports suggesting Melissa Gorga will be demoted from her full-time role ahead of season 12, and that Jackie and Dolores Catania will be fired, Jackie and Joe were seen reacting to the rumors in the comments section of an Instagram post.
After a fanpage shared the news regarding the alleged RHONJ cast shakeup, the Real Housewives Franchise posted screenshots on Instagram of Joe and Jackie’s reactions to the claims.
“Not a chance,” Joe had written of the report.
“People are cray!” added Jackie.
Earlier this week, All About the Real Housewives revealed that Heather Mundy, a casting producer for Bravo, had shared a casting flyer on Instagram that was calling for “fabulous” and “affluent” women in New Jersey.
“I’m looking for women in New Jersey that have strong personalities and amazingly fabulous lives! Boujee, extra, chic – however you describe yourself, I wanna hear from you!” Heather captioned her post.
Around the same time, Bravo Snark Side claimed to have heard that “there were going to be a few demotions” ahead of RHONJ season 12, and a fan account claimed to have seen a message shared by Deux Moi days prior in which it was suggested that “Melissa is allegedly being demoted,” and that “Jackie and [Dolores] maybe let go due to lack of storylines.”
The Real Housewives of New Jersey season 11 airs Wednesdays at 9/8c on Bravo.
