Is TomTom "Permanently Closed"? Find Out the Status of Lisa Vanderpump's West Hollywood Bar as the Venue's Assistant General Manager Speaks Out

Lisa Vanderpump recently re-opened two of her West Hollywood restaurants, but what’s going on with the third?

Following the grand re-openings of SUR Restaurant and Pump, Vanderpump Rules fans and patrons are wondering what’s going on with TomTom, the restaurant and bar Lisa co-owns with her husband, Ken Todd, and their Pump Rules co-stars, Tom Sandoval and Tom Schwartz.

Over the weekend, rumors began swirling in regard to TomTom’s fate after a Google screenshot described the venue as “permanently closed.”

On March 21, Bravo Snark Side on Instagram posted a couple of screenshots on their Stories, the first of which included a message from the owners of TomTom, which explained their COVID shutdown, and a second that made it seem as if the bar would never reopen.

“Surely not permanent?” the fanpage asked in a caption of their screenshot showing TomTom was “permanently closed.”

TomTom Said to Be Permanently Closed on Google

Following the report, TomTom’s assistant general manager, Richardson Cherry, told The Sun that the venue would “absolutely” re-open soon.

“We’re more bar than sit-down restaurant type. Also, our patio isn’t that big. When we can accommodate people safely we will open in a couple of weeks or so,” he explained, adding, “It’s more so about being safe than profit. Profit matters but if everyone is sick it’s not good. When we can accommodate more people it will be easier as the inside of TomTom is not super huge.”

At the present time, restaurants in Los Angles are allowed to be open at 25 percent capacity. However, while TomTom is able to open lawfully, COVID-19 precautions have prevented the owners from opening their doors.

“I don’t have an exact date when we will open but I’m anxious, but yes we take Covid seriously,” Richardson continued. “Lisa and the whole family is taking it very seriously, but I would love to be open by middle to end of next month.”

Although TomTom was listed as “permanently closed” over the weekend, that has since been changed. Now, Google’s page for the bar says “closed.”

Reps for Sandoval and Schwartz also spoke out against rumors of permanent closure, telling The Sun that while there is “not a set date” for the re-opening of TomTom at this point, it “will be opening again soon.”
