After a traumatic gunpoint robbery in her Encino Hills mansion, Dorit Kemsley has revealed details about the crime and its investigation. In spite of the horror she experienced, the 41-year-old fashion designer decided to continue working, which includes her Bravo reality show, the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills.
Last week, three men entered Dorit’s mansion in the middle of the night after breaking through her children’s classroom window. Though the kids remained asleep throughout the evening, Dorit was woken by the men at the foot of her bed before they grabbed her, threatened to kill her, and stole a reported $1 million in jewelry and handbags.
On her way to a workout with co-stars Lisa Rinna and Crystal Kung Minkoff on Tuesday, a Daily Mail reporter asked Dorit if any suspects had been found in the investigation. She responded, “‘Not that I’m aware of.”
The reality star, who was filming for the Bravo show, also said she was doing “OK” after the horrible incident.

In a recent Instagram post, Dorit shared that work was the best way she could heal through the trauma. She also said she wanted to make things feel as normal as possible again.
During the invasion, Dorit begged the men not to hurt her children, and she repeated that she was a mother. Afterward, Erika Jayne, Kyle Richards, and Lisa rushed to Dorit’s house to make sure she was OK. Her husband, Paul ‘PK’ Kemsley, was in London at the time of the crime.
PK recently told TMZ that they were considering moving to a different place, though he didn’t know where. The couple has made major security updates on the property to ensure that a similar situation doesn’t occur in the future. Dorit expressed to the same news outlet, “I need to keep [my children] safe when they sleep.”
Fans on social media flooded Dorit’s Instagram with words of encouragement and support. Her fellow co-stars, including Kathy Hilton and Teddi Mellencamp, also expressed their solidarity.
The RHOBH star has experienced a rollercoaster of public sentiment in the last month. Amid a controversial reunion, many fans called for Dorit to be fired from the show after comments she made to cast member Garcelle Beauvais.
