Dorit Kemsley and her husband Paul “PK” Kemsley are both breaking their silence regarding the home invasion that recently took place at their $7.9 million home in Encino, California, as a new report is shedding light on the amount of the items stolen.
Less than 48 hours after a group of men broke into their mansion and held the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills cast member at gunpoint as she begged for her life, PK posted the message to his Instagram account after arriving home from London, where he had attended a wedding.
“Dear Friend’s [sic] and Followers, I would like to thank you all for your kind words of support. Dorit and myself have been overwhelmed by the show of love. We can’t respond to every message (I can’t even respond to all the texts and what’s apps)…. So I wanted to tell you all that we are doing ok,” the message began.
“I’m home and we are all together and will get through this,” it continued. “The babies are great they are totally unaware and life is going to return to normal hopefully very quickly. Much Love, PK and Dorit.”
Upon his arrival to LAX from London on Thursday, PK spoke to the Daily Mail, stating that the home invasion came as “a real shock” as he pushed his luggage and a Givenchy bag through the airport.
“She’s in shock. I’m going to see her now. I haven’t seen her yet – I was so worried,” he revealed.

On Wednesday night, armed men broke into Dorit and PK’s home, where she and her kids were sleeping. The men threatened to kill her as she pleaded for her children not to be harmed.
As for whether or not the stolen items were insured, PK stated, “I hope so. I hope everything’s insured.”
Meanwhile, GMA is reporting that a source tells them over $1 million worth of items were stolen from the RHOBH couple’s home as cops state the suspects made off with jewelry, handbags, and watches.
Dorit also broke her silence just moments ago as she shared a statement on Instagram on October 30.
“As you all know by now I have been through a terrifying ordeal, one that no parent or person should ever have to experience. I’ve received so many messages of love and support and I thank you all from the bottom of my heart,” wrote Dorit on Saturday. “My kids are unaware of what happened, they slept through it and I thank God for keeping my kids and myself from being physically harmed.”
She continued, “My family now needs to start the healing process. I have thrown myself straight back into work as I want our family to return to normality as soon as possible. With love and support of my husband, my incredible family, friends, fans and followers, I am confident this is the right thing to do whilst I independently work through the trauma. I’m so grateful to the LAPD for their care and attention. Thank you again for all of your support.”
Following PK’s Instagram post, he and Dorit were met with a number of supportive messages from their RHOBH castmates, including Crystal Kung-Minkoff, Sutton Stracke, and Kyle Richards.
“Sending endless love to you, D and the kids,” Crystal wrote as Sutton shared a praying emoji, a cat kissing emoji, and a pink heart emoji.
“Love you guys,” said Kyle.
Andy Cohen also weighed in, applauding Dorit for her bravery.
“We are all so grateful everyone is OK. And Dorit can teach us all a thing or two about facing down danger,” he shared.
A number of other Instagram accounts, including that of Real Housewives of Dallas star Stephanie Hollman, Bravo, and Million Dollar Listing: Los Angeles cast member Josh Altman, also sent support.
The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills season 11 reunion, part four, airs Wednesday, November 3, at 8/7c on Bravo.
