90 Day Fiance's Evelyn Accuses David of "Mental and Emotional Abuse" as Couple Splits After 4 Years of Marriage90 Day Fiance season five stars Evelyn Cormier and David Vazquez finally called it quits after months of rumors and speculation around the couple’s status.

For months, the couple has dodged rumors of an impending divorce as Evelyn, 22, was often pictured not wearing her wedding ring and many fans felt something was wrong. While the couple continued to deny allegations of any problems, fans were just not buying it.

But while the split itself may have not been a total surprise to fans, Evelyn’s accusations regarding the reason for the breakup definitely were.

First, Evelyn confirmed to In Touch that she is “divorcing David” as she scrubbed her social media of photos of him.

Evelyn then lodged accusations against her husband of four years, telling Us Weekly during that time she had suffered great “mental and emotional abuse.” She encouraged her fans to remember that not everything on social media is always accurate.

But Evelyn wasn’t done yet as she revealed that the relationship had been “passionless, sexless and narcissistic.” Yikes. Many fans had expressed initial concern about the pair as there was a nine-year age difference, and when they met, Evelyn was just 18. Many wondered if the two would be able to stick out their marriage successfully, but following the season, the two remained together and appeared happy. But it seems fans’ initial fears may have been confirmed.

Although David, 30, denied the abuse allegations, he did not want to offer any further comment. But the damage from the allegations was done, and the couple is heading for divorce after being married for four years.

David and Evelyn’s story began on 90 Day Fiance season five. The then-27-year-old David had moved from his native country of Spain to be with then-18-year-old Evelyn, and the couple had settled down in New Hampshire. But eventually, as the two’s fame grew, and with Evelyn landing a spot on American Idol season 17, the then-couple relocated to Los Angeles, which is where they live today. Although with the impending divorce, many fans wonder if David will return to his native Spain or continue to stay near Evelyn in L.A.

It certainly has been an eventful week for the couple, and while David continues to deny the abuse allegations, his lips are still sealed as to any more details of the couple’s divorce. Evelyn has also not released any further details on the abuse allegations.
