Caroline Rauseo is the newest castmate on the hit Bravo show, Real Housewives of New Jersey. She was introduced to the group by Teresa Giudice, who’s been her friend for over 25 years.
Rumors of Caroline joining RHONJ were swirling for months before she finally confirmed it at a charity ball in early November. Her husband, Francesco Rauseo (the father of their 16-year-old girl), is the owner of a construction company.
According to a court clerk who spoke with The Sun, Caroline filed for divorce in February 2021. The divorce is not yet over, which means her debut season was filmed during the split.
The insider explained, “They were married for 16 years. They have been separated for a year. Their divorce will be finalized soon. They are on good terms.”

The Sun also reported that Caroline will keep their home, a $1.1 million mansion in Fair Haven, New Jersey. The previously-shared house has four bedrooms and four bathrooms. As of now, it is unknown if Francesco will be featured in scenes for the upcoming season.
On the night of the charity ball, castmates told The Sun that season 12 will be explosive. Dolores Catania claimed the drama was similar to past seasons of the show, though she couldn’t give specific details.
It’s been reported that Tiki Barber’s wife, Traci Lynn, will also be joining the franchise, but her exact position is unknown. A source told The Sun that she’s auditioning for the spot, and producers will determine if she’s a good fit. Traci may or may not be joining in a ‘friend’ role (which is lower pay and less spotlight).
Teresa, who did not attend the charity ball, got engaged to Louie Ruelas. Her fiancé popped the question on a romantic getaway in Greece with fireworks and sparklers in the background. The next chapter of Teresa’s romance will undoubtedly be a storyline in season 12.
Jennifer Aydin recently told The Sun that she wasn’t sure she’d get an invite to the wedding. Her comment raised speculation about her friendship with Teresa, which once seemed strong. If the two women had a falling out, viewers will see it when the episodes air. For now, though, Bravo has yet to set a premiere date.
