The next chapter of the Khloe Kardashian/Tristan Thompson saga is here. Khloe, who shares a three-year-old daughter with her ex, learned that he allegedly fathered a child with Maralee Nichols, who gave birth last week. Maralee is suing the NBA star for child support.
Tristan requested a paternity test, and he admitted in court docs that he had sex with Maralee in March. According to this timeline, the affair occurred before his breakup with the Keeping Up With the Kardashians star.
According to a source for E! News, Khloe is “ignoring the noise.” The source explained that she is “focused on co-parenting.”
However, another source told Us Weekly that Khloe “now knows that Tristan was unfaithful to her when they were back together.” The insider revealed, “This is a very sad time for Khloé. She really loves Tristan and still held a candle for him. She thought he might have changed his ways.”
“Khloé’s family has all rallied around her and have been very supportive to her,” continued the source. “Even though Khloé is hurt, she’s staying strong and trying to move forward. Khloé did know about the baby before the news broke, it was very hard for her to hear.”
Maralee is asking that Tristan pay expenses related to the pregnancy and birth (plus legal fees). The mother is requesting full custody, but she wants Tristan to have visitation rights.
According to Page Six, Tristan allegedly texted Maralee the following: “My feelings haven’t changed at all. [I] won’t be involved at all. Btw if you think having this baby is gonna make you some money. It’s completely wrong. You are aware that I’m retiring after this season. So in terms of support it will be whatever is required monthly for someone who’s unemployed.”
The text also declared, “All you will have is a baby with a father who has zero involvement with the child and a few hundred dollars of child support a month.”
Khloe and Tristan got together in 2018, and they welcomed their daughter soon after. Before the child was born, Tristan was caught cheating with multiple women. The couple didn’t break up, though, until February 2019, after he kissed Jordyn Woods, Kylie Jenner’s best friend.
The parents reconciled in 2020 (after quarantining in the same house), but they called it quits this June.
