Jill Zarin Doesn't Believe RHONY Will Continue without Ramona SingerRumors are swirling about the future of Real Housewives of New York after a season of low ratings. Some sources claimed Ramona Singer would be fired from the franchise while others suggested that she and Sonja Morgan would be the only current cast members left standing.

It was also rumored that the show might be canceled because it was too controversial. Although the series is currently on a hiatus, castmates like Luann de Lesseps are certain it will return.

According to an interview with Showbiz CheatSheet, Jill gave high praise to Ramona, her former enemy. She stated that Peacock made Ramona the focal point of the Real Housewives: Ultimate Girl Trip because they believed she would be returning to RHONY.

“They all just made the show about Ramona,” said Jill. “Thinking she’ll get back on Housewives of New York, easy.”

She added, “Listen, I don’t think they could do [RHONY] without Ramona. They need Ramona. They need Luann and I think they need me.”

These comments seem bizarre to some viewers of RHONY, who watched the two women fight for years. Jill has expressed her willingness to rejoin the cast, but producers haven’t yet offered the apple.

Ramona recently told Entertainment Tonight that she felt good about her future on the show: “To me, I always say, you’re good at what you do if you love what you do. And I loved doing the show at Peacock, [The Real Housewives Ultimate Girls Trip], and even during COVID I loved doing [RHONY]. We had some ups and downs, but actually, I loved it.”

She also admitted that the cast could benefit from more blood. “We need to definitely add some people. Listen, five people is not enough,” said Ramona. “We need two or three more.”

Host Andy Cohen recently discussed the series’ future on The Wendy Williams Show, saying, “We are kind of on pause at this moment. We have a lot of casting happening and we’re looking at every option. We are working on it. I love New York. We all love New York.”
