The Real Housewives of New Jersey star Jackie Goldschneider is revealing how all the RHONJ husbands are handling Bill Aydin’s past affair. She also teases some juicy details about how Luis Ruelas will confront that bizarre video and the swirl of rumors surrounding him during the new season.
In a new interview with Page Six, Jackie said that the rest of the husbands, including Joe Gorga, Frank Catania, Joe Benigno, and Evan Goldschneider, all have Bill’s back after it was revealed that he cheated on his wife, RHONJ’s Jennifer Aydin, with a pharmaceutical rep 10 years ago.
“I don’t think the guys get as involved in all the drama,” Jackie said. “The guys all love Bill. I think some of them were not shocked, and I don’t know why.”
Jackie also added that all the husbands are good guys and have their own friendships outside of the show and the Housewives’ drama.
“They’re all good guys. They’re able to put aside the women drama and really have their own friendships,” she said. “Some of them were not shocked [by the affair], but they would never rib him about it. I don’t even think they brought it up to him. They’re not like that.”
Jackie also added that she’s very “protective” of the “house-husbands.”
“I’m so protective of the Jersey husbands. Like, the Jersey husbands just have this bond in the way they love each other. Off-camera also is just so unique—they love being together,” she said.
Jackie also took time to reveal that Teresa Giudice’s new fiancé, Luis, will address the rumors that plague him this season on RHONJ.
“There’s an awful lot of rumors and they keep on coming,” she told Page Six. “That kind of drama just doesn’t go away. There’s no end to it.”
Jackie also added, “There’s a pretty epic scene [this season] where he does answer some questions.”
The rumors surrounding Luis first began last year after a number of ex-girlfriends came forward and called him “sex-obsessed.” After that came the video of Luis at a “camp” where he seemed to be making amends for his past behavior in relationships.
Ultimately, Jackie hopes that Luis can handle himself this season.
“It’s never fun being the one in the hot seat, and I’m not sure that Luis knows what he signed up for yet,” she said in the interview. “Because it’s really difficult to film it, but watching it back, I think, even harder.”
“I hope he can take it in stride, and you know, kind of have fun with it, if possible.”
Oof, that’s probably going to take some big strides. As we all know, these ladies are detectives and have a handy knack for getting to the bottom of things.
The Real Housewives of New Jersey airs Tuesday nights at 8 p.m. EST on Bravo.
