The Real Housewives: Ultimate Girls Trip star and RHOC alum Vicki Gunvalson is revealing that BFF and fellow co-star Tamra Judge saved her life while filming season two of RHUGT.
“We shared a room together, and she even saved my life,” Vicki told Page Six. “I can’t repeat how she did, but she did.”
Although no specifics about the situation were given by Bravo or Peacock, a source did say that it was an “actual situation” as she was “choking on something” and Tamra eventually had to perform “the Heimlich” maneuver on her.
“We laugh about it now, but I was like, ‘You saved my life,’ and she [Tamra] goes, ‘You dumb cluck.’” Vicki explained.
Vicki went on to tell the outlet that it was a real joy to spend more time with Tamra Judge while they filmed the RHUGT. Although the two are best friends and still talk every day, they don’t get to see one another very often due to work and travel.
“I’m just so busy with work, and I travel a lot, and I go to Mexico every other week, and I’m in Chicago. I’m really traveling a lot and it keeps me happy,” the insurance mogul said. “And so, Tamra and I don’t get to see each other as much as we want. We talk every day, but we don’t get to see each other as much as we’d like.”
Vicki also went on to tease some of the drama on the upcoming season of RHUGT filmed at Dorinda Medley’s Blue Stone Manor in the Berkshires, mostly revolving around her and Dorinda’s differing opinions on the COVID-19 vaccine.
“I told [Dorinda] it’s political and she didn’t agree and if it’s not political then why is the government mandating it?” Vicki said. “So, you can believe what you wanna believe, but the facts are the facts. So, she has her opinions and I respect it, I just didn’t think she respected my opinion.”
Vicki previously told The Daily Mail that she has not gotten the vaccine due to “underlying issues” and has a “health exemption” due to blood clots.
In addition to Vicki, Tamra, and Dorinda appearing on RHUGT’s new season, they are also joined by RHONY alum Jill Zarin, RHOBH alums Taylor Armstrong and Brandi Glanville (who Vicki also had a conflict with), and RHOA alums Eva Marcille and Phaedra Parks.
The Real Housewives: Ultimate Girls Trip season two is set to premiere on Peacock sometime this year, but an exact date has yet to be announced.
