RHOC Alum Meghan King Says Ex-Husband, Jim Edmonds “Hates” Her as He Refuses to Communicate or Co-Parent With Her, Plus Details New Podcast

Former Real Housewives of Orange County star, Meghan King, is sharing new details on how she’s co-parenting with her ex-husband, Jim Edmonds.

In a new interview, Meghan relayed that the two are very much a source of contention and that she doesn’t even know what co-parenting is as Jim “hates” her.

“I don’t know what co-parenting is,” Meghan, 37, joked to Us Weekly, while promoting her weekly YouTube series breaking down her time on the RHOC. “I struggle with communication [with him].”

“I don’t know what it is. Like, I don’t. I’d be the one to get advice. In order to co-parent, you have to communicate right? Yeah, so that would be a good start. … Jim hates me. It’s horrible,” Meghan elaborated.

The couple originally wed in October of 2014 and share 3 children, daughter Aspen, 5, and twin sons Hart and Hayes, 3.

Meghan went on to explain that she has primary custody of their children while Jim has “visitation.”

Meghan also went on to reveal that she and Jim haven’t been in communication since before Jim got engaged to new fiancé, Kortnie O’Connor. She states that as far as a co-parenting relationship, Kortnie is probably “the closest thing” she’s going to get.

“That’s saying a lot because I don’t communicate with her either. … I don’t think [the kids] like it. I don’t think they know any different, but I don’t think they like it either. I wish we could discuss things about our children, but we can’t,” the RHOC alum said.

Besides having no communication with Jim, Meghan recently went through another heartbreaking divorce with ex Cuffe Biden Owens after two months of marriage.

Taking to her Instagram last year she posted, “I am rattled. … This is obviously not what I imagined when I made my vows — and I’m shocked and saddened by the way things turned out.

But Meghan is moving onward and upward promoting her new weekly podcast where she recaps her time on RHOC and her past relationship woes, calling it “therapeutic.”

“I’m able to rewatch [RHOC episodes] with new perspective, and I’ve had a lot of life under my belt,” Meghan explained to Us. “It’s been really almost therapeutic for me in a way and definitely eye-opening to see what other viewers saw through watching the show whereas I was too in it at the time to be able to give perspective.”
