Real Housewives of Miami star Larsa Pippen has definitely made her mark on the newly rebooted Housewives franchise.
She’s certainly holding her own during the current season four reunion show, and now she’s opening up further about how she’s changed since the original RHOM aired. Plus, she’s speaking out about her feelings toward a certain cast member, her opinion on Kim Kardashian and Pete Davidson’s relationship, and how she co-parents with her ex, Scottie Pippen.
Speaking with Behind the Velvet Rope with David Yontef, Larsa admits she was in such a different place in her life when shooting the original show.
“I feel like I was so innocent, you know?” she explained. “I was such a mom and such like a wife that like, that really consumed who I was back then.”
Larsa also wasn’t exactly prepared for what she had signed up for after shooting began back then, claiming that she wasn’t ready for the controversy and arguments — so much so that it made her uncomfortable.
“I wasn’t comfortable with any type of controversy. I couldn’t take on any heat,” she said. “I signed up for the show and then once I was on, I couldn’t handle any of the heat. I was like, get me out of this kitchen.”
Still, Larsa holds fond memories of those days and is happy to be back after the show’s hiatus.
“There was so many good memories, you know, it was, you know, it was a special time of my life,” Larsa reminisced before adding that she’s in a much different place now. “So, it’s, you know, it’s just different. It was, it’s a different experience for me today than it was, you know, we love it years ago.”
David then asked Larsa who else has changed since the original show went off the air, and Larsa did not hold back. She called out costar/enemy Adriana de Moura for turning into a “bitter” and “mean” person.
“Probably Adriana,” she told the podcast. “Like I think she’s gotten, you know, some people as they age, they get bitter and mean, and I feel like she has gotten bitter and mean. Like a grumpy old man, you know? Like your energy, your energy says a lot about you, right? Like if you’re like loving and open and want everyone to win you see that and if you’re just like, you know, just in the corner, hating on everyone and talking shit, like that’s just, you know.”
We all know drama-starting Adriana is really thirsty to regain that mojito next season.
Larsa also took time to speak on former best friend Kim Kardashian and Pete Davidson’s relationship, saying, “You know what? If they’re happy, I am happy. When people are happy, you know, it shows. You know, and I feel like they’re happy. So that’s all that matters.”
As for finding her own happiness, Larsa was asked if she had ever slid into anyone’s DMs looking for love, and she says rarely. However, she admitted to sending a DM to Elon Musk — but only for business matters, nothing to do with romance.
“I feel like the only person I’ve ever DM’d is Elon Musk. I DM’d him for like cryptocurrency advice. I was like, hey, should I buy some doge or not? Like, it was a business thing,” the OnlyFans creator said.
Of course, Larsa couldn’t go through the interview without mentioning her relationship with her ex Scottie and how their family is doing after the couple’s divorce.
“I feel like [we] just focus on the kids,” the RHOM star said. “You know, I just, I feel like when you, like, when couples hurt each other, the only thing it really does long-term is affect the kids. And you know, I would never do that to my kids. I love them so much. Scottie loves them so much.”
Larsa then added that everyone is in a good place at the moment, saying, “I’m happy, he’s happy. My kids are great. So, for me, that’s all like, you know, I could ever wish for.”
