Kathryn Dennis is in the midst of a nasty custody battle with her ex, Thomas Ravenel. The mother of two allegedly lost custody after Thomas accused her of having drugs around the kids. Kathryn has denied the allegations.
The Southern Charm star recently faced a setback when her attorneys reportedly dropped her as a client, alleging that the professional relationship was impaired.
Unfortunately, it seems Kathryn’s troubles are growing.
Radar obtained documents that allege that Kathryn was threatened with eviction after she fell behind on rent for her high-rise apartment. The star allegedly didn’t pay in the months of February and March ($4,500 each).
The owner of Kathryn’s apartment complex, Mt Pleasant Investments LLC, issued a “Rule to Vacate” notice, which is apparently one step away from an eviction notice.
The situation was later settled, but “a second notice was filed on May 17 with the clerk explaining it listed ‘terms of occupancy have ended,’” the outlet reported.
On June 6, the star suggested a relocation when she posted an image of herself on Instagram, captioning it, “Been moving in the humidity. Time to lounge on a fluff.”
When her custody lawyers, Pete Currence and Susan Rawls Strom, dropped her as a client, they reportedly wrote the following: “Grounds for the motion are that counsel and defendant can no longer communicate, and can not agree on matters of importance to the case, and the attorney-client relationship is irretrievably impaired so much that undersigned can not effectively represent defendant.”
Southern Charm season eight premieres on Thursday, June 23, on Bravo.
