During a strange season of Summer House, Ciara Miller threw a wine glass at her co-star, Danielle Olivera. The altercation was triggered when Danielle interrupted Ciara’s diatribe against Lindsay Hubbard. At the time, the product manager wanted to nip Ciara’s speech in the bud as it appeared to be going nowhere. Little did Danielle know what was coming next.
After their dramatic fight, Ciara made a brief apology. But in the months leading up to the reunion, Ciara made no attempt to reach out to Danielle. Another apology was made at the reunion, but many viewers felt it was designed for the cameras.
In an interview with Page Six, Danielle opened up about her current relationship with Ciara.
“I think the last time we spoke was at the reunion,” she revealed. “And that’s basically all that it is. … Last summer was incredibly unfortunate.”
Danielle continued, “I don’t know if it’s an age difference. I hope that we could eventually see eye to eye, but as it stands right now, it doesn’t seem like we do.”
According to the 33-year-old, their friendship is “nowhere” to be found.
“All I want to do is move forward,” Danielle explained, “but even after our reunion aired, I said, you know, reunions are meant to kind of resolves things, and I think that it didn’t really resolve as much as I had hoped.”
The star added, “I’m kind of left thinking, you know, where do we all stand? Where do I stand with certain people? And when you go into another summer, it’s hard not to have that in the back of your mind.”
When she watched the reunion on television, Danielle found herself “scratching her head” at the arguments against Lindsay and Carl Radke.
“I still feel like it’s a bit icky,” she said. “There’s, like, a fog and, like, a cloud a little bit. I’m hoping things might change, but that’s where I’m at right now.”
Regardless of what happens, Danielle will dwell on the East Coast this summer as her boyfriend, Robert Sieber, works at the Surf Lodge.
The season seven cast is yet to be revealed, but they’re scheduled to film any day now. Luke Gulbranson recently confirmed he won’t be on the roster. According to rumors, Alex Wach, Andrea Denver, and Ciara herself are also on the chopping block.
