Stephanie Hollman and her husband, Travis Hollman, just gifted their housekeeper with a new car.
Rather than splurge on Christmas presents for each other and their kids, sons Chance, 13, and Cruz, 11, the Real Housewives of Dallas alum and her family chose to instead treat their housekeeper with an over-the-top gift topped with a red bow and waiting in their driveway.
“My kids said it was better than any gift they could have received. Happy holidays friends,” Stephanie wrote in the caption of a December 12 video that featured the heartwarming surprise.
“Merry Christmas,” Cruz tells the woman at the prompting of his mother.
“It’s for me?!” she asks.
“You get a brand new car,” Travis confirms.
Understandably, the woman couldn’t hold back her tears as she told the former RHOD cast members, “Thank you! God bless you!”
“You’re welcome,” Travis replies.
Then, as the woman enters the vehicle, saying, “I love the color,” Stephanie tells Travis, “Aw, she’s praying.”
Following the sharing of the video, Stephanie was bombarded by tons of love from her fans and followers who appreciated her immense gratitude, including other Real Housewives stars like Real Housewives of Potomac cast member Ashley Darby.
“I love this Steph!!!!” Ashley proclaimed.
“This is so sweet and kind,” added Alexia Echevarria of The Real Housewives of Miami.
Meanwhile, Real Housewives of Salt Lake City star Angie Harrington reacted to Stephanie’s video with three clapping emojis.
Also in the comments section of Stephanie’s post was some skepticism regarding the potential taxes and other fees the housekeeper would have to pay to take complete ownership of the vehicle.
“That’s very kind! Hopefully she won’t have to pay the taxes on it when she goes to register it or increase in her insurance… They are things that [people] don’t consider,” someone wrote to Stephanie.
But Stephanie assured the woman that her housekeeper would not be responsible for paying the taxes.
“We paid the taxes on the car already and worked with her family on the car so they were all involved,” she confirmed.
Bravo announced The Real Housewives of Dallas would not return for a sixth season in August 2021.
