Teresa Giudice shared her plans to help her ex-husband Joe Giudice return to the United States after the 50-year-old was deported following a prison sentence.
The Real Housewives of New Jersey star also revealed that her current husband, Luis Ruelas, is involved in the process.
In the past, Joe expressed his desire to return to his four daughters – some of whom are still minors, and live with their mother in New Jersey. As of now, he can only see the children when they fly out of the country to meet him.
On the December 21 episode of her “Namaste B$tches” podcast on PodcastOne, Teresa shared that “we’re working on” Joe getting back to the US. Her current husband, Luis is helping out with the process, and even agreed to pick up Joe’s paperwork from the immigration attorney.
According to Teresa, her daughters are submitting “letters” to help Joe’s case, saying why “they want their father to come back to this country.”
When asked if there’s a chance he could return, Teresa said “never say never.”
According to Teresa, Luis himself also “wrote a letter,” to help with the process. In the document, which he wrote of his own accord, Luis explained how he sees Joe “as a dad,” said Teresa.
This prompted Teresa to plan her own letter, and she explained her reasons why.
“We want him to come back for our daughters,” continued Teresa. “For the girls … Even me. It’s hard, I’m doing it all by myself, and then sometimes when I ask Luis to help, poor guy, [it’s] like he doesn’t want to … say anything to the girls cause, you know, he’s like, ‘I don’t want them to say to me, like, you’re not my dad’ or something like that.'”
The Real Housewives of New Jersey season 13 is set to premiere Tuesday, February 7 on Bravo.
