Andy Cohen shared a text message he received from a celebrity on Tuesday’s Watch What Happens Live after being questioned on his late-night talk show about who had sent him the “nastiest text.”
Before guest Carson Kressley looked back at a moment in which he shaded the Real Housewives of New York City alum Ramona Singer and described his experience hosting Sonja Morgan, Andy revealed the content of the celeb’s message and addressed Martina Navratilova‘s recent cancer diagnosis.
“I got a text from someone who I kind of idolized, telling me to stop having people trash them on this show. It was upsetting,” Andy admitted on the January 3 episode of WWHL, adding that he “can’t say [who].”
Meanwhile, at the start of the episode, Andy reacted to Martina, the wife of Real Housewives of Miami star Julia Lemigova, coming forward with not one but two cancer diagnoses, including Stage 1 throat cancer and early-stage breast cancer.
“I’m sending all my love and support to our friends Martina and Julia after yesterday’s news. We are thinking of you both. We are sending Martina Navratilova so many positive, healing vibes,” he shared.
Bravo and Peacock also addressed the news with a post shared on social media.
“Bravo [and] Peacock send strength and positive thoughts to Martina Navratilova and her family after Martina’s diagnosis. We send our best wishes and support in her fight through her treatment towards recovery,” the networks’ statement read.
Elsewhere in the WWHL episode, Carson was questioned about potential smack-talking he’s done behind the back of a Bravolebrity.
“Maybe I once said someone’s hair looked thirsty… it might have been Ramona,” he admitted.
Carson then said that while the time he spent with Sonja at his home was far from mundane, the RHONY cast member “was actually a fantastic houseguest.”
“She does have a lot of unmentionable lady things. That woman has a lot of lingerie,” he added. “I was like, ‘There’s only seven days in the week… Why do you have 37 sets?’ It was racks and racks of panties and bras. I was thrilled.”
Watch What Happens Live airs Sundays through Thursdays at 10/9c on Bravo.
