The Real Housewives of Atlanta alum, Phaedra Parks, may be heading back to the network that made her a household name. According to sources, Phaedra has “100 percent” been asked to join the cast of Bravo’s Married to Medicine for its 10th season.
“I have known for over a month that, yes baby, Miss Phaedra Parks was set to join ‘Married to Medicine,’” reality producer, Carlos King, revealed on his Reality with the King podcast on Wednesday, January 11th.
According to Carlos, Phaedra has allegedly been in “deep discussions” with Bravo for months, though she has yet to sign a contract.
“I don’t know if Phaedra has signed on the dotted lines,” Carlos explained. “I cannot confirm if Phaedra has signed the papers.”
He continued adding that Bravo “loves” Phaedra and has been trying to figure out a realistic way to bring her back into the network’s folds after being fired from RHOA for allegedly spreading repugnant and damaging rumors about former costar, Kandi Burruss, and her husband, Todd Tucker, wanting to “drug” and sexually assault then-cast mate Porsha Williams.
It does seem natural that Phaedra would fit in with the Married to Medicine women as she is currently dating an unnamed doctor in the Atlanta area and is friends with star, Quad Webb.
“Phaedra and Quad are friends. What would make sense is Phaedra is brought in through Quad,” Carlos said. “What I don’t know is how deep the rapport goes between Phaedra and these other women, but what I can say is Atlanta is very small.”
Apparently, the rest of the cast of Married to Medicine is on-board with Phaedra joining the ranks as well. Per sources at Page Six, the whole cast has “approached Phaedra about being on the show.”
The insider continued, “They’re all really good friends with her and begging her, ‘Please, please come do the show.’ And she adores all of those women, so she is definitely considering this.”
Although nothing is set in stone, the source alleged that Phaedra “sees how this could be a good fit [for her].”
“Phaedra likes to keep her love life under wraps, but she definitely has a boyfriend who is a doctor, and there is a lot of interest in their relationship.” the source, who is close to production, told the outlet.
However, the question is, does Phaedra have the time? Since leaving RHOA, Phaedra has graced fans’ screens appearing on the second season of Real Housewives: Ultimate Girls Trip, to much fanfare. It was recently announced that she would return to RHUGT for season 4 of the franchise as well.
“She is so busy right now. She’s already in pre-production for ‘Girls Trip’ Season 4 and getting ready for Morocco. She is still working as a mortician, and she is still practicing law. She has a business in Dubai,” the source said.
“There is so much on Phaedra’s plate at all times. So, if she can find the time, she’d like to do ‘Married to Medicine.”
